Chase Hyatt refer a friend finally LIVE!

Chase has consistently offered refer a friend bonuses on many of its credit cards but until now there has not been a Chase Hyatt refer a friend offer.  Interestingly enough, the Chase Hyatt card has also not typically had any affiliate or other links available.  It’s just been whatever public offer has been available (which is currently 40,000 Hyatt points after spending $2000 in the first 3 months).  But now as of today (November 9 2017) there is also a Chase Hyatt refer a friend offer available

How to do the Chase Hyatt refer a friend offer

You can access the Chase Hyatt refer a friend site at www.chasereferafriend.com – same as the other Chase refer a friend sites.

As with other cards, with the Chase Hyatt refer a friend 40,000 point offer, you are limited to 50,000 bonus points from referrals (so in this case 5 referrals per year)

Benefits of the Chase Hyatt card

The Chase Hyatt card used to come with 2 free nights as a signup bonus, but over the past year or so transitioned into just giving out points instead of free nights.

I actually prefer the 40,000 points over the 2 free nights – we used one of my free nights at the Hyatt Regency Nice Palais de la Méditerranée

Hyatt Regency Nice

Of course we used the other one at the Hyatt Place Louisville Airport, where hotel workers cleaned vomit out of my car!  While other hotel cards (IHG, Hilton, Marriott) frequently offer signup bonuses of 100,000 points, I value 40,000 Hyatt points as about 2-3x as valuable as those points, making this a top-tier signup bonus.  As one example, I’ve used 8000 Hyatt points to book a hotel that had an after tax value of over $300 (nearly 4 cents per point value!)

You also get 3x points at Hyatt hotels, and 2x at restaurants, on airline tickets purchased directly from the airline and at car rental agencies.

Hyatt Category 1 hotels are only 5000 points / night, and unlike other hotel chains where you can never find a Category 1, Hyatt Category 1 hotels are fairly prevalent.

There is a $75 annual fee that is NOT waived the first year, and each year (other than the initial signup) that you pay the annual fee you do get 1 free night certificate for any Hyatt Hotel Category 1 through 4.

Chase Hyatt 5/24 status

As most of you know, many Chase cards are limited by the Chase 5/24 rule, which says that if you’ve been approved for 5 or more cards (from ANY bank) in the past 24 months, you’re unlikely to be approved.

Thankfully, the Chase Hyatt card is NOT subject to 5/24, so even if you’re at LOL/24 (which is a common occurrence I’ve seen), you can still use the Chase Hyatt refer a friend 40000 point offer to apply for ( and be approved for) a new Chase Hyatt card

Sharing your Chase Hyatt refer a friend links

My Chase Hyatt refer a friend link is here.  If you apply through that link, you’ll get the best currently available public offer which is 40,000 Hyatt points after spending $2000 in the first 3 months.  I believe you will also get 5000 points if you add an authorized user
